FEMALE FOUNDER LIVE TALK

"I Wish Someone Had Told Me This Before I Started" An AMA with Alla Ouvarova, Co-Founder and CEO of Two Chicks

(Session in English)

Alla Ouvarova and her co-founder Anna needed £250,000 to start Two Chicks. Nobody would give them a penny. So they started anyway, with £25,000 from a family friend, and spent the early years leafleting outside supermarkets trying to get people to understand what liquid egg whites were. 18 years later they've exited to one of Europe's largest egg producers. This session is about everything that happened in between.

Two Chicks has since doubled its turnover in the past two years, with products stocked in every major UK supermarket and international listings across Europe and beyond. In 2025, Two Chicks sold a majority stake to Eurovo Group, one of Europe's largest egg producers, with Alla remaining at the helm. She's also an EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women alumna, a member of 100 Davos Women, and the founder of Future Female Entrepreneur, an initiative supporting the next generation of female founders through mentoring, networking and skills development.

Eighteen years of building, a category created from nothing, and an exit that took decades of persistence to reach. Alla is bringing the real version of that story into this session, especially the parts she wishes someone had told her at the start.

What you'll take away from this session

  • The things Alla wishes she had known before she started, and how they would have changed her early decisions

  • What the early days of building a product business no one understood actually looked like, and how she kept going

  • How to handle funding knock-backs and keep moving when the doors keep closing

  • What getting into retail really takes, from the first buyer conversation to stocking every major UK supermarket

  • How to think about scaling, partnerships and exits as a female founder in a space where the odds are stacked against you

  • What she has learned from 18 years of building that she now shares with the next generation through Future Female Entrepreneur

We don't share the recording afterwards, so if you want to be in the room, you need to show up live.

Exclusive Online Session for Female Founders

Who is this Online Session for?

This session is for founders who are past the point of wanting a motivational talk and just want to hear how it actually went.

If you're trying to get your first retail listing and have no idea how to approach the conversation, if you're fundraising and hitting wall after wall, or if you're simply at a stage where you need to hear from someone who has been in the same position and kept going anyway, this one is for you.

Alla didn't have a business background when she started Two Chicks. She didn't have food industry experience either. What she had was a product nobody in the UK had seen before, a co-founder to lean on when the knock-backs got heavy, and 18 years of figuring it out as she went. She's bringing all of that into this session and answering your questions directly.
