“I always struggled with a lack of self confidence even though I’ve been successful in my studies and previous jobs. Becoming a mom changed me and my self confidence at least a bit. I said to myself: “If I can give birth to a child… then… I can do anything!“ So during my parental leave, I decided to quit my previous job and started to work on my own idea. But I quickly realised that working on my own isn’t a piece of cake… Even though I’m a disciplined person, I started things, but never finished them. If no-one gives you deadlines, shares your thoughts or asks for results, it is difficult to keep up and be motivated. I thought I knew what I had to do, because I studied business administration and communications, but in the end I was really unstructured and… unhappy. When I started the Businettes Training Program three months ago, my business idea soon became clearer. I had regular feedback calls with the Businettes founders and it motivated me to work efficiently. The Businettes team truly understands the challenges especially women have and always empowered me to believe in myself. Come on!“ Today, I speak with more confidence about my business idea, have a pitch in my pocket, developed a brand DNA and a CI and a web designer already sent me a first draft of my online platform.
